Swedish fashion brand H&M is unveiling a collaboration with emerging designer Rok Hwang from Korea.
The Swedish retailer H&M is focusing on the up-and-coming brand Rokh by Korean designer Rok Hwang for its next designer collaboration. H&M announced that the collaboration with Rokh will include women’s clothing, men’s clothing, and accessories, offering Hwang’s “cleverly adaptable designs with a touch of quirky elegance.”
The collection, launching on April 18, features Rokh’s customizable signatures, including layered trench coats, detachable hem dresses, corset pieces, office-inspired handbags, and bold jewelry.
Ann-Sofie Johansson, creative advisor and head of women’s clothing design at H&M, stated: “Rokh is at the forefront of a new wave of Korean designers whose conceptual yet wearable clothing is currently fascinating the fashion world. We are proud to present a curated selection of designer Rok Hwang’s customizable wardrobe classics, and we can’t wait to see how our customers wear them.”
Rok Hwang, creative director at Rokh, added: “Rokh designs have a classic appearance with radical construction for a timeless approach to design. I am very excited to share our vision with more customers around the world thanks to this groundbreaking collection with H&M.”
The Rokh x H&M collection will launch on April 18 in selected H&M stores and online at hm.com. A curated selection of pieces will be available for a 48-hour preview at Dover Street Market starting from April 16.
