Pizza Hut has just unveiled an exciting collaboration bound to tantalize taste buds on both coasts: the Big New Yorker Pizza Bagel, a mouthwatering fusion of bagels and pizzas crafted in partnership with Yeastie Boys, a popular Los Angeles-based bagel food truck concept.
Rachel Antalek, Pizza Hut’s chief food innovation officer, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “We’re thrilled to partner with Yeastie Boys to introduce the Pizza Bagel, giving our Big New Yorker pizza an even bigger New York twist. We are always looking for innovative ways to surprise our customers, and this collaboration perfectly embodies our commitment to bold flavors and culinary creativity.”
Evan Fox, the Arizona-born founder of Yeastie Boys, echoed the sentiment, saying, “Pizza Hut was an integral part of my childhood and so were pizza bagels. The fact that this is the first time Pizza Hut will drop a Pizza Bagel, and we get to do it with them is truly a dream come true. I am beyond stoked to share these with the public.”
The Big New Yorker Pizza Bagel will debut at Yeastie Boys food trucks in Los Angeles and New York City, premiering at Rolling Loud in Los Angeles from March 15 to 17. Subsequently, it will be available at the Yeastie Boy trucks in New York City from March 22 to 23 and in Los Angeles from March 22 to 24.
But here’s the kicker: Pizza enthusiasts can snag a Big New Yorker Pizza Bagel for free at the trucks while supplies last (limit one per customer). Moreover, select Pizza Bagels will come with a scratch-off offering codes for Pizza Hut gift cards worth up to $25 or exclusive Yeastie Boys x Pizza Hut merchandise, adding an extra layer of excitement to this already thrilling culinary collaboration.
For those unfamiliar with Pizza Hut’s history, the Big New Yorker Pizza originally debuted in the late ’90s, quickly becoming a cult classic. After disappearing from menus for some time, it made a triumphant return in 2023 to much fanfare. The XL pizza, characterized by its six oversized, foldable slices and bold flavors reminiscent of authentic New York pizzerias, has now been reinvented as the Big New Yorker Pizza Bagel. Featuring marinara sauce, Parmesan and mozzarella cheese, oregano, and double pepperoni on a signature Yeastie Boys bagel, this limited-edition creation promises to be a hit among pizza and bagel aficionados alike.
